ABOUT THE 2021-2022 WTCA CHAMPIONS AWARDS

The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) Champions Awards is the association's membership awards program designed to recognize outstanding contributions from member World Trade Centers within the WTCA network, and in their local and global communities.

As part of its 50th Anniversary in 2019, the WTCA launched an awards program — the “Champions Awards” — to recognize excellence around the network. This is an opportunity for WTCA Members to recognize fellow Members for all they do. Nominations for these awards will open December 2021, and the winners of the 2nd annual competition will be presented at the 2022 WTCA General Assembly (GA). These awards are given out each year as part of an ongoing recognition program, and honorees will be presented annually at each subsequent GA.

Nominees will be provided with support including a press release template and media kit to use for their website and for local market media outreach, as well as templated social media posts including a branded hashtag (#WTCAChampion).

This registration would come in addition to any complimentary registrations included in other promotions (i.e., such as those granted to paying dues before the deadline, and completing InfoShare and digital platform profiles).

Winners will be announced and publicized in a press release on both a local and global scale, as well as across the WTCA’s social media channels, and Member e-blasts. Finally, each winner will be profiled on the WTCA Blog.
