Yash Manick is the Chief Executive Officer of the Mauritius-Africa Fund (MAF), an apex investment arm of the Government of Mauritius. Since joining MAF in 2015, he has steered the organization to drive positive, long-lasting impact across continental Africa through regional economic integration and industrialization by spearheading investment and trade from Mauritius onto the continent.
MAF is already involved in the development of Special Economic Zones in partner African countries under Government-to-Government collaboration. World Trade Center Verdun, recently established under the aegis of MAF, is gearing up to be the premier gateway for international trade between Africa and Asia.
Mr. Manick currently also serves on the Board of SIAA s.a. in Senegal. Prior to joining MAF, he spent over a decade in strategy consulting in the U.S. and in Africa. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, a U.S. Ivy league institution.
