Since January 2, 2019, Stéphane Aka-Anghui has served as the Executive Director of the General Confederation of Enterprises in Côte d’Ivoire (the Ivory Coast).

An experienced economist, he honed his skills as a development economist in London and at Société Générale-Paris before working in Abidjan at Partner Concept from 1995 to 2001. In 2002, he received both a master's degree in strategy and international business engineering in France and a certificate in international management in Phoenix, Arizona in the United States. After working in marketing at Total, he continued in this dynamic as a consultant at Agora in France.

In 2005, he returned to Côte d'Ivoire and joined the Ministry of African Integration and Ivorians Abroad, where he dealt with issues related to the private sector and projects. The last position he served in the Ministry was that of Deputy Chief of Staff before joining the Ivorian Employers’ Association.
