Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ingo Gestring completed his doctorate in the field of process engineering/polymer processing at the Institute of Process Engineering at the University of Hanover under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dieter Mewes, carried out various project and line tasks for Volkswagen from 2002-2009 and most recently managed production and logistics at Automobilmanufaktur Dresden GmbH. From 2004-2005, he was project manager for vehicle start-ups at Bentley Motors Crewe. He has been a professor at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences (HTW Dresden) since 2009. The Chair of Business Administration / Materials Management and Production Logistics is responsible for teaching in the subjects of Supply Chain Management, Production and Logistics Management, Automotive Management and Operations Management.
