Mr. Abderrahmane Hadef holds an Executive MBA in strategy and change management as well as an Electrical Engineering diploma and a Post Graduate in marketing for economic and business development. Abderrahmane is an International Senior Economic Development Consultant specialised in promoting private sector Strategy development in Algeria with over 25 years of relevant professional experiences. Currently, being Consultant to the European Union Delegation to Algiers, Abderrahmane is Managing an international cooperation and economic Diplomacy Project called «Sustainable Investement Partnership SIP» and Team member of EU-Algeria Renwable energies and Cleantech Algerian Value Chain Project. During his career Abderrahmane developed an extensive expertise in economic research, market analysis, and sectorial development planning and demonstrated strong leadership and organisational skill. He held senior management positions in ministries and state agencies. Abderrahmane developed strong expertise in i) the energy sector as an executive of SONATRACH for 15 years, ii) economic diplomacy / investment promotion / organisation of Business Forum in Algeria as President of the TITTERI Chamber of Commerce and as a executive member of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Algeria, iii) International trade as a member of the National Commission of Appeal of the Algerian Customs and as a member of the Algerian Exports National Committee focusing on trade of digital services. As head of Cabinet of the Digitalization and Statistics Ministry Office, he developed a National Digital Transformation Strategy and proposed economic emergence plans to develop alternative sources of energy for the Office of the Commissioner for Energy Transition and Energy Efficiency. He also has experience supporting startup incubators, clusters, and digital platforms to create sustainable employment and decent jobs and the Youth Employability Project initiated by the UNDP and ILO. Abderrahmane Hadef is trilingual in English, French, and Arabic.
