As Executive Director, Tim Nowak leads the World Trade Center St. Louis (WTCSTL). For more than 30 years, as the international division of the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, WTCSTL has supported growth for the region’s businesses as well as ensuring St. Louis companies are represented in an increasingly global marketplace. From market research to trade training, hosting inbound and outbound delegations, and managing St. Louis’ Foreign
Trade Zone, Mosaic Project, Sister Cities organizations, and EB‐5 Regional Center, WTCSTL brings together a strong system of business and government agencies to support trade and investment and enhance St. Louis’ global connectivity.
Nowak joined WTCSTL in 2007, bringing years of experience in business development, domestic and international sales, and management. He has extensive international working experience in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa. Nowak has managed and directed international sales organizations in the medical industry, including distribution and direct-sales strategies.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Nowak holds bachelor’s degrees in marketing and logistics from the University of Missouri -Columbia and a MBA from Webster University. He currently serves as adjunct faculty at Washington University in St. Louis and is a frequent guest lecturer at regional universities.
