IMPORTANT

Please read the information below carefully. If a visa is required for your trip to Haikou, you may apply as early as possible to ensure your attendance.

 

VISA

  • Visa-Free Entry into Hainan Province
    • Eligible Nationalities: Attendees from 59 countries that have visa-free agreements with China are eligible for visa-free entry to Hainan Province, please check list of 59 countries.
    • Duration of Stay: The maximum length of stay for visa free attendees in Hainan is 30 days.
    • Purpose of Visit: Commercial activities, visits, exchanges, and other needs (excluding long-term working and studying). Attendees intending to visit Hainan for other purposes may need to apply for a visa.
    • Entry Ports: Attendees must enter Hainan with a direct flight from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, or any other counties outside Mainland China.

  • Visa-Free Entry/Transit Policy into China
    • Please click the link http://cs.mfa.gov.cn/wgrlh/bgzl/201202/t20120207_961630.shtml to check the list of mutual visa exemptions between China and foreign countries.
    • Kindly note that the contents of the list may change according to policy updates. For the most current information, please contact the nearest Chinese Embassy /Consulate, or consult your local travel agency before your trip to Hainan.
  • Apply  for a Entry Visa: Attendees who are not from the China/Hainan Province visa-free eligible countries, or who need to transit through an airport located within Mainland China, or intend to visit Mainland China before or after the APRM, must apply for an M Visa (Business Visa) to enter China. You will need to prepare the following documents: 
    • Passport: Ensure that your passport is valid for the duration of your stay in China and has at least six months of validity remaining.
    • Visa Application Form: Complete and sign the appropriate business visa application form.
    • Passport Photos: Provide passport photos that meet the required specifications.
    • Invitation Letter: We will issue an invitation letter for visa purposes to each attendee within three days after confirmation of registration. This applies to:
      • Attendees from countries/regions NOT included in the list of 59 visa-free countries.
      • Attendees from visa-free countries who need to transit to Haikou via an airport located within Mainland China.
      • Attendees who intend to visit Mainland China before or after the APRM.
    • Additionally, depending on China's visa policies, you may also need to provide other materials such as proof of employment, personal financial statements, or other documents to demonstrate your business purpose and financial capability during your stay in China.
    • Please note that the visa application process may vary depending on your country and region. It is highly recommended that you check with Chinese Embassy/Consulate in your country/region for   the relevant policies and requirements before applying and ensure that you have prepared all necessary documents. Airport Pick-Up/Drop-Off Services 

  • WTC Haikou will provide complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off services. 
  • Please fill-in an online pick-up/drop-off form and submit at your earliest convenience. 
  • If any participant would like to register for a private pick-up and drop-off, we can provide that at an additional charge.
