Harrison Crabtree is the Director of the World Trade Center New Orleans. In his role, Harrison spearheads initiatives aimed at enhancing Louisiana’s presence on a global stage, facilitating international trade missions, and fostering strategic partnerships with foreign trade delegations. Under Harrison’s leadership, the World Trade Center New Orleans has taken on a proactive role in driving foreign direct investment across Louisiana as well as promoting imports and exports.
Prior to his role as Director of the World Trade Center New Orleans, Harrison served in various capacities at Greater New Orleans, Inc., the region’s economic development organization, including leading the organization’s research efforts. Harrison’s research has been featured in national publications including Politico, The Hill, and Bloomberg and has been presented in testimony on Capitol Hill.
In 2023, Harrison was recognized by Biz New Orleans Magazine as a “New and Notable.” Harrison has also been featured in New Orleans City Business’ “Power List: Young Professionals” recognizing his contributions to the New Orleans business community.
Harrison holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy leadership from the University of Mississippi and a master’s degree in international development from the University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies.
