Niraj Khinvasara currently serves as the Executive Director at World Trade Center Pune, also serves as the Chair of the Global Member Advisory Committee for Trade Services at the World Trade Centers Association.
Niraj is on the Board of Studies of the Deccan Education Society (DES), The Deccan Education Society runs 43 educational institutions in various fields such as commerce, science, arts, etc.
Niraj also serves as chair of WTC Pune Academy to further the cause of cutting edge technology and sustainability programs into local schools, colleges and corporates.
In addition to his passion for education, Niraj is working with the global pharma and healthcare ecosystem. Here he champions eradication of Anemia through a breakthrough treatment - the world’s first transdermal liposomal body lotion for ion delivery
He is also active with global talent mobility, where he facilitated a pilot to send 100 nurses to Norway laying the foundation for a World Trade Center nursing platform to fill the gap of shortage of nurses globally.
He is also instrumental in launching Supply Chain Diversity as a service where he simplifies navigating the complexities and regulatory compliances of opening manufacturing plants in Asia/India as a single window service. Niraj is also active in the FMCG sector helping global brands scale the retail modern trade distribution of India and United States.
Niraj is passionate about sustainability, a key agenda for the World Trade Center. He has launched a unified sustainability tech platform for Indian organizations helping with their ESG roadmaps and compliance reports.
With a distinguished career of over two decades in technology, media and entrepreneurship, Niraj has held key leadership positions at AT&T's energy sector for leading Shell in Asia and spearheading IBM's Go-to-Market and Commercial engagement in India, Middle East and Africa. Niraj was also instrumental in leading Citigroup’s Global network and digital transformation when he was with AT&T in New York.
Niraj's educational background includes an MBA and a BBA from Adelphi University's School of Business & Management in New York, US.
