Imposter Syndrome in the Workplace

Employees who feel imposter syndrome don't tell their managers: "Despite its prevalence, a huge 94% of those who have suffered from imposter syndrome haven’t discussed their feelings at work. Of those that are uncomfortable telling their manager their feelings of ‘frequent’ self-doubt, nearly two thirds (61%) fear they could be seen as a less capable employee. Source: onrec

The issue is particularly pronounced among women, with nearly twice as many women (21%) frequently suffering from imposter syndrome compared to men (12%). Millennials (25 to 39-year-olds) are also significantly affected, with 27% feeling like frauds in the workplace, while only 3% of workers aged 65 and above experience regular self-doubt.
