Guruprasad Mudlapur has been serving as the President of Bosch Group India and the Managing Director of Bosch Limited since July 1, 2023, in addition to his role as Chief Technology Officer of Bosch Limited since 2022.

He previously held the position of Vice President at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions India (now BGSW) in 2013, where he led the electronics engineering division, focusing on the design and development of Automotive Semiconductors and Electronic Control Units. Furthermore, he held the roles of Regional President and Managing Director at Bosch Automotive Electronics Pvt. Ltd.

Since January 2018, Mr. Mudlapur has also been leading the project house for Electrification within Bosch India, responsible for setting up the Electrification Engineering unit and developing competencies for Electric Light Commercial vehicles, Passenger cars, Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines, and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles.

Before his tenure at Bosch, he spent nearly 15 years with NXP Semiconductors in Singapore and The Netherlands, working on semiconductor development for Mobile, Personal Communication, and Digital Televisions.

Mr. Guruprasad obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University in 1988 and completed the EGMP at IIM-B in 2011. He is married with two sons and is an avid cyclist who enjoys reading in his spare time.
