About the Class 

Classes begin with a prayer,  a series of warm ups/joint movements, sun salutations (Surya Namaskara) , asanas (physical postures) with gentle pace.  Students will be able guided to move with a sense of ease from one posture to another, coordinated with the breath. Classes are designed to create space to explore your practice, to find the balance between strength, stretch and flexibility, and to gain greater understanding of alignment and balance in the body. We will end the practice with relaxation(shavasana) and pranayama (breathing practice).

Instructions 

  • Wear comfortable clothing – Cotton T-shirt, Track pants . Keep a towel, a water bottle near you
  • DO NOT push your body to get into final pose  , prepare your body towards it. Do only to your comfort level. 
  • Flexibility and strength will come with regular practice – do not worry about this
  • We will follow the following sequence , it’s good for you if you do all the chanting and breathing along with me. Do not hold your breath at any point in time

  • Beginning prayer with OM chanting 
  • Warm ups + Breathing asanas
  • Surya Namaskara with chanting 
  • Asanas usually in this sequence – Standing, Balancing, Sitting , Prone, Supine posture

Classes are designed to create space to explore your practice, to find the balance between strength, stretch and flexibility, and to gain greater understanding of alignment and balance in the body. We will end the practice with relaxation(shavasana) and pranayama (breathing practice).

  • Wear comfortable clothing – Cotton T-shirt, Track pants . Keep a towel, a water bottle near you
  • DO NOT push your body to get into final pose  , prepare your body towards it. Do only to your comfort level.

Classes are designed to create space to explore your practice, to find the balance between strength, stretch and flexibility, and to gain greater understanding of alignment and balance in the body. We will end the practice with relaxation(shavasana) and pranayama (breathing practice).

  • Wear comfortable clothing – Cotton T-shirt, Track pants . Keep a towel, a water bottle near you
  • DO NOT push your body to get into final pose  , prepare your body towards it. Do only to your comfort level.

Classes begin with a prayer,  a series of warm ups/joint movements, sun salutations (Surya Namaskara) , asanas (physical postures) with gentle pace.  Students will be able guided to move with a sense of ease from one posture to another, coordinated with the breath. Classes are designed to create space to explore your practice, to find the balance between strength, stretch and flexibility, and to gain greater understanding of alignment and balance in the body. We will end the practice with relaxation(shavasana) and pranayama (breathing practice).

Instructions 

  • Wear comfortable clothing – Cotton T-shirt, Track pants . Keep a towel, a water bottle near you
  • DO NOT push your body to get into final pose  , prepare your body towards it. Do only to your comfort level. 
  • Flexibility and strength will come with regular practice – do not worry about this
  • We will follow the following sequence , it’s good for you if you do all the chanting and breathing along with me. Do not hold your breath at any point in time

Overview: Please meet in the lobby of the Sheraton Grand Hotel @ 8.30 A.M. and look for your WTC Tour Representative. Your day will begin at Bannerghatta National Park & Zoo by 10.00 A.M. The tour is an estimated 2 ½ hours(entry tickets are included). Following the park you will enjoy lunch at the Woodrose Club followed by a visit at the Indian Music Experience Museum with high tea. The day will conclude with your return to the Sheraton by 5.00 p.m.
