World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) is a network of more than 300 highly connected, mutually supporting businesses and organizations in nearly 100 countries. As the owner of the “World Trade Center” and “WTC” trademarks, WTCA licenses exclusive rights to these brands for Members to use in conjunction with their independently owned, iconic properties, facilities and trade services offerings. Through a robust portfolio of events, programming and resources that it offers its Members, the goal of WTCA is to help local economies thrive by encouraging and facilitating trade and investment across the globe, creating an ecosystem built around commerce, community and connection. WTCA is an effective global network comprised of an ecosystem of conference & exhibition centers, economic development agencies, real estate developers, universities, logistical hubs, airports, free zones, and more.
WTCA creates an environment where collaboration is encouraged between World Trade Center businesses to help educate and increase global trade and investment opportunities, and offers its members the tools to share best practices in areas such as conferences and exhibitions, real estate, business clubs and trade services.
WTCA is partners with industry organizations such as Airports Council International (ACI) Europe, the organization representing more than 500 airports in 55 countries that facilitate more than 90% of commercial air traffic in Europe; UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry, and the Global Trade Helpdesk, developed jointly by the World Trade Organization (WTO), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and International Trade Centre (ITC); and is an active participant in the United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact), which for 20 years has been uniting businesses for a better world driving change across all aspects of corporate sustainability.
