Amal Louis is a maritime industry expert with 22 years of experience. She began her career at Marfret, managing vessel operations in the intra-European and Mediterranean short sea market and leading project development.

Since March 2023, she has served as Director of Business Development and Intermodal Solutions at the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille – Port de Marseille Fos. She also holds a two-year term as President of Via Marseille Fos, an association established in the 1990s to promote the Marseille port area.

Ms. Louis has been actively involved in industry representative bodies. She served as President of the Association of Ship Agents and Brokers of the Port of Fos-Marseille for five years before becoming Vice-President at the national level of AMCF (Association des Mandataires Consignataires de France) for two years. She was also a member of the Development Council of the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille (GPMM) and the Supervisory Board of MGI (Marseille Gyptis International) for five years.
