ITER & CHATEAU LA COSTE

In this business tour participants will join two tours: ITER and Château La Coste. Particpants will discover a cutting-edge scientific site, followed by lunch in a place where
contemporary architecture blends harmoniously with wine.

This experience combines innovation, architectural beauty and refined gastronomy.

What is ITER?: ITER is the largest energy research project in the world.

What is Château La Coste?: Today, the collection features more than forty pieces, primarily sculptures. This art and architecture walk is an invitation to reflect and an opportunity to revel in natural surroundings Enjoy a guided tour with your La Coste’s expert guide who explain

09:30-10:40: ITER presentation in English
10:40-11:25: Participants will be  Lecture Room on a virtual visit with Benoit Manfreo

11:25-12:10: Participants will take a bus ride and stop in the assembly hall

12:30: Visitors return to entrance to end tour

13:00-14:30: Lunch at Les Colonnades -
château La Coste

14:30-16:00: Tour of Château La Coste

Enjoy a cocktail lunch & wine tasting in a unique setting of "Les Colonnades." Designed by Tadao Ando, this magnificent covered terrace offers
a perspective view of the Art Center's columns. They take root inside the building, blending into the Domaine's vineyards.

MARITIME  INNOVATIONS

In this business tour participants will meet and visit 2 major players in Maritime & Innovation Center. The tour will start with the visit of Port of Marseille Fos discover its facilities, activities, projects and trades, then after lunch discover The TANGRAM Campus.

 

What is Port of Marseille Fos?: The port of Marseille, one of the largest in Europe, and is best
appreciated by boat, offering
breathtaking views of its bustling
quays and maritime landscapes.

What is TANGRAM? Particpants will discover how CMA CGM addresses critical challenges in
sustainable transport and logistics
through a Fleet Center replica, a
robotics showcase, a navigation
simulator, virtual reality experiences, and a 3D model envisioning the future
of the industry.

In this business tour participants will discover Marseille's not-to-be-missed calanques from the sea onboard the Green Calanques, a modern & environmentally responsible boat (24 meters speed 20 knots, equipped with 2 ecological motors & eco-friendly materials.

 

What is Green Calanques?: Marseille's Calanques offer breathtaking scenery, with towering cliffs and turquoise waters. Enjoy an unforgettable excursion with lunch on board, while discovering these natural treasures from a privileged angle.
