Dino Fortunato is an international development professional with over 20 years of experience at UNIDO ITPO Italy, specializing in industrial joint ventures and technology transfer between Italian enterprises and developing countries. He joined UNIDO in 2003 as the Argentinean Delegate after serving as an Advisor to the International Relations and Trade Committees at the House of Representatives and working for the Argentinean Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As Chief Technical Advisor at UNIDO ITPO Italy, Mr. Fortunato leads multi-stakeholder projects, negotiates with donors and governments, and promotes investment opportunities in countries such as Pakistan, Mozambique, Cuba, Somalia, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Palestine, and Jordan. He actively supports women entrepreneurs in the MENA region through business formulation, networking, and investment facilitation. Additionally, he assists innovators, SMEs, and startups in Italy and the UAE, particularly in sustainable and digital transformation, helping them scale globally.

A strong advocate for inclusive industrial development, he frequently speaks at international forums on agro-industrial development, the circular economy, and youth and women empowerment.
